I don't really have much to say, but I do have some images to share this time.
It's been awhile since I have felt creative. Being creative just hasn't really been a priority lately, which has been interesting and frustrating. I've missed creating though, so I'm attempting to get back into creating more frequently, or at least riding out this wave of inspiration for as long as I can.
For this shoot, I was inspired by my sister's new haircut, so I styled her in a way that isn't her normal fashion, and I loved the results. I wanted something sort of classic and old fashioned. I'm super into hairclips at the moment?
We basically just marched around in the empty parts of our parents' new neighborhood, just like we used to do when we lived in Lexington, Kentucky when I was 14. This felt familiar, but I felt like I wasn't able to operate my camera very well, and taking portraits of someone else felt awkward and clumsy. I enjoyed the process though, and taking these photos made me want to continue taking more.
Anyone else listening to the Phoebe Bridgers album on repeat?
